Longtide came together like a pack of strays... Cornwall provided a home and in no time at all, a kinship was forged. Connecting through their love of music, the prolific three piece shared ideas and stories that culminated in a sound that not only celebrated their influences but pushed the band to be creative in their own right.

Students of acoustic lows and jarring guitars alike, the band carve intricate vocals through hefty bass lines and dirty, rung out chords with the aim of crafting music to be proud of!

Hand-picked by ' BBC MUSIC introducing ...' the demo track 'Hurricane' and debut single ‘Sleeping Giant’ both received airplay in the UK and worldwide.

Next year Longtide will release their first EP and then go on tour of the UK and Ireland.
